Clean & Simple Wedding

Hello all! I am blogging again today! I decided to participate in "The Spot's" challenge of Clean & Simple Wedding. I have to admit, I struggle with Clean & Simple. I like to add ribbon and all other embellishments. I think that my card turned out Clean & Simple though. It was really easy to make and I hope you will enjoy it.

I started with a Whisper White card stock piece and masked off the top of the card with some scratch paper. I then stamped the floral image along the bottom of the paper. I moved my scratch paper down and left about 1 1/4" of blank space from the top of the stamped image on the bottom and where I wanted the top floral image to be. I should have taken a picture of this. Sorry! I then stamped the floral image again. When I removed my scratch paper. I had 1 1/4" of blank space between the stamped images. I hope that makes sense.

I colored the flowers with sponge daubers. This made it really simple and I love the soft, fuzzy edges it leaves. I then stamped the sentiment in the blank space. I added some ribbon and mounted this piece to some pretty DSP. I then mounted this piece to my card base. I added some pretty embellishments to finish off my card.

I stamped a sentiment and a small flower on the inside of my card to finish it off. Cute! I hope you check out "The Spot" and participate in their fun challenge.

OSAT Blog Hop - New Review

Hello everyone! I am so excited for today's blog hop!!! We are showing you our creations made with items from the new 2020-2021 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog!

I had such a hard time trying to decide what stamp set to use. I also thought I had an extra day to create so I had to come up with something quick and simple. I hope you like what I came up with. Here we go:

First up is my card. I just love this image from the stamp set, "From All Of Us". I think these little critters are adorable! Do you not agree? I stamped them with Memento Black Ink and colored them in with Stampin' Blends. I mounted my colored image to the front of my card, tied some ribbon around it and added some enamel dots in one of our new In Colors, Misty Moonlight. Isn't it just a beautiful blue?

I stamped one of the tree images from the stamp set in Old Olive and added a sentiment to the inside of the card. I love the fun font used in the stamp set also.

For my 3D item, I took a sucker and covered it with some In Color 6 x 6 DSP cut with a die from the "Hippo & Friends" dies. I then carefully inked up some of the critters in the stamp set with Memento Ink and colored them with Stampin' Blends. I fussy cut them out and adhered them with mini dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment and cut it out with one of the "Tasteful Labels" dies and adhered it to the sucker stick with mini dimensionals.

Well, I hope you enjoyed my creations today! Don't forget to hop along and see what the rest of the OSAT Design Team has come up with!
