Well Dressed

Hey everyone! I hope this blog post finds you all well and healthy. I thought I would share a card with you that I made for a swap for an event I attended. I also decided to use it for card class this month. It was a hit!

Whenever Stampin' Up! comes out with a masculine set, I like to get it. I think the stamp set I used for this post is so cute! It is a set that you can earn for FREE throughout the rest of this month. It is in the second release of Sale-A-Bration. It is called, "Well Dressed". Check it out:

Aren't these images great? I used most of the images on my card and I think this stamp set pairs so nicely with our Country Club DSP and Absolutely Argyle 3D embossing folder. Wouldn't you agree?

I used a sentiment from Itty Bitty Birthdays.I love this stamp set. It is one of my go to sets for great birthday sentiments for the inside and outside of your cards. I like the little touch of silver thread behind the greeting.

Of course, I had to dress up the inside of the card. I always like to add a sentiment and then a small, stamped image to dress up the inside of my cards. I think it really finishes off the card and looks nice.

I hope you enjoyed my card and I hope you have a fabulous day!

Tags In Bloom

Hello stampers! I have another card to share with you today. I wanted to get it out there before Sale-A-Bration ends this month. My card uses two new releases and I just think they are essential to have.  Let's check out my card:

Isn't this pretty? We made this in card class this month. Can you spot the two, new Sale-A-Bration items? It is the stamp set, "Tags In Bloom" and the vellum called, "So Very Vellum".  Here is a close up of the vellum:

It is embossed! How cute is that? It comes in three colors: Pool Party, Purple Posy and Soft Sea Foam, shown here.

I love this stamp set. You don't have to color in the flowers or leaves. They have a stamp to do that for you. Genius! The sentiments in this set are so amazing also. Isn't that, "Happiness looks gorgeous on you" so lovely? They also have a sentiment that says, "I miss your face". That is my most favorite. Isn't that adorable? I got this set mostly just for that.

Do you recognize that ribbon? No? Well, it is our Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon. Whisper White you say? That doesn't look white! You know what is fabulous about this ribbon? You can color it with our Stampin' Blends! It is so quick to color and dries almost instantly. Cool huh? I used our Rococo Rose Blends and it looks amazing.

Here is the inside of my card. I stamped a row of the smaller flower from the stamp set along the bottom. Not quite sure how I feel about this, but I went ahead and left it.

I hope you enjoyed my card. If you would like any of the items used to make it, click on the items below! Happy stamping!

OSAT Blog Hop - Chick Ewe Out!

Hello everyone! Mindy here with the OSAT design team. We are hopping again this month. The theme is "Chick Ewe Out". We are to create a card and 3D item using any type of critter (animal) this month. I am so excited about the things I created! I just LOVE how they turned out. Here's what I made:

Oh my goodness! Isn't this so cute! I know I shouldn't be tooting my own horn, but I just love how this turned out and this sloth is so absolutely adorable, is he not?  This card may look like a regular card, but it is not. It is a fancy fold card. Want to see the rest of it?

Isn't that so cute?! I just love it! I got the fold idea from a fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrator, Wendy Lee. Wouldn't you love to get this while you are sick? I don't do very many get well cards, but I love the stamp set,  "Back On Your Feet". The animals and sayings in it are so very cute.

Here are couple of close ups of the inside:

Isn't that giraffe so cute? I love the little knot in his neck. This stamp set is also so much fun to color with our Stampin' Blends. I also used the stamp set, "Animal Outing" for the little frog on the branch.

I also love this little guy. Isn't he so cute! OMGoodness! I just think all the little critters in this set are too cute!

So, my 3D item goes along with my card. I was having a hard time coming up with something so I took to the internet to get some ideas. I found this cute idea from another fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrator, Dawn Griffiths.

This is a little holder that holds a small, travel-size package of tissues and a roll of Halls cough drops. If I wanted to, I could also put a Cup of Soup packet on the back, but I chose not to.

As you can see in these close ups, I embossed the card stock with the Coastal Weave embossing folder. I thought it added a nice touch and dressed up the card stock a bit.

Cute! Well, I hope you enjoy hopping along and seeing what the other design team members have come up with. Happy Hopping!
