A Few of My Favorite Things, Take Two

I wanted to share with you a few more of my favorite things from the Holiday Catalog. I hope you are enjoying this as much as I am. So, without further adieu,

COUNTRY LANE SUITE

I am in love with this suite. I love the stamp set, the TIEF, the colors, everything. It just screams Fall and I can't get enough of it. Here are a couple of cards I have made using this suite of products:

Isn't that Tin Tile Dynamic Textured Impressions Emboss Folder just stunning? I love how it looks when you emboss our foil paper with it. So amazing! I love the images in the Country Home stamp set. They are so adorable and the sentiments are wonderful. You can use if for multiple occasions.

TRICK OR TWEET

I don't buy a lot of Halloween items because I find that I don't make very many things with them, but when I saw this ADORABLE stamp set, I just had to buy it. The little critters in this set are so darling! They are so hard to resist. Here are a couple of samples I have made using this set:

SANTA'S WORKSHOP SUITE

This suite is so darling! It has the cutest images of Santa, Mrs. Claus and Santa's elves. I think it just screams Christmas. The DSP in this suite is amazing. It has hand drawn designs and white flocking on some of the sheets. How stinkin' cute is that? There is also a great Memories and More card pack as you can see in the second picture that is so cute.

What is Memories and More you ask? It is a simple way to scrapbook all your pictures in a book, but have the book look super cute at the same time. You can also combine the Memories and More Card pack with our coordinating Memories and More Cards and Envelopes to make super cute Christmas cards! No stamping required! In fact, this set has been so popular that it is unfortunately on back order right now, but will be available at the end of October. There will still be plenty of time to get your cards made and out on time!!! Yay!!!

TAKE YOUR PICK TOOL

I  just LOVE this new tool by Stampin' Up! It has multiple purposes. It has a sticky, putty end as seen above that is great for picking up sequins and other small, loose items. There are refills available for this also. WooHoo! On the other end of the tool, there are two changeable, double-ended tips. One of these tips has a flexible spatula to pick up self adhesive pearls, rhinestones, self adhesive sequins, etc... The other side of this tip had a paper piercer. The other tip has two stylus ends. One a small stylus and one a larger stylus for scoring. How awesome is that? I love this tool and I know you will too. You have got to get one today!

Well, I hope you have enjoyed getting to see what some of my favorite items in the catalog are. I had such a hard time narrowing it down. If I had to really choose, I would say ALL OF IT is my favorite! LOL! Truly, this is one of the best Holiday catalogs I have ever seen. You need to check it out. If you would like a paper copy, just shoot me an email at mindyclove75@gmail.com with your name and address and I will get one in the mail to you right away.

Trick or Tweet

Hello stampers! How are you today? I hope you are well. I am so excited to show my card with you today! I made some plaid card stock using my Buffalo Check Clear Mount Stamp and some markers. I am probably one of the last people to try this, but I am so glad that I did! It turned out so cute! Here is my card:

Isn't this too cute?!?!?! I used the sketch over at The Paper Players. Here is the sketch:

Isn't this a great sketch? Anyways, back to my card:

I just love the stamp set "Trick or Tweet". It has the cutest little critters in it. I have used this set a few times and have used some of
the different animals and they are all so adorable.

I am totally diggin' the plaid "DSP". I made my own background paper using white card stock, the "Buffalo Check" stamp set and some SU! markers. Here is a close up of the plaid:

Here is how I did this: I put my large, Buffalo Check stamp on a plate of the Stamparatus. I put my card stock in the corner of the Stamparatus and inked up the check with Granny Apple Green ink. I then stamped the image onto my card stock. I had to re-ink the stamp and stamp it a second time as I wanted to get a really good image. I then took the brush tip of a Gorgeous Grape marker and a ruler and drew lines as you can see above. I then took a Pumpkin Pie marker and used the skinny end (writing tip) and drew thin lines in the middle of the white squares. I just LOVE how it turned out! So stinkin' cute!!!

I stamped my kitten with Memento Black in and colored it with Blends markers. I then cut my kitten out with the Stitched Labels Framelits and mounted it on a Gorgeous Grape Scallop Circle cut with the Layering Circles Framelits. I put a little Silver Metallic Thread behind my circle and adhered it to my card front. It is a little hard to see, but if you look closely, you can see that I used the Subtle Dynamic TIEF on the black card stock. I thought it added a little something to an otherwise plain piece.

I wanted to decorate the inside of my card. I used a sentiment from "Trick or Tweet", but didn't really have any small Halloween stamp sets. I then remembered that I have the September Paper Pumpkin! I used the little stamps from that! So cute! I love that you can use Paper Pumpkin stamp sets for other cards.

I hope I have inspired you to go create a little something pretty. I look forward to sharing with you next time!

"Spooktacular" Design

Hello stampers! Happy Monday! I hope you had a great weekend. We did. It was really nice. My son had a great time at Homecoming. His date is such a cute, sweet girl.

Anyways, I have a card for you today! They have a wonderful sketch over at Global Design Project. I just had to try and make a card for it. Here is the sketch:

Global Design Project

And here is my card:

Isn't this puppy so adorable? There are the cutest, little animals in the "Trick or Tweet" stamp set. I actually am a cat person, but I wanted my animal to be facing right and the kitty in this stamp set faces left. Weird, I know, but I do think he is adorable. Here is the color palette that I used:

These are some new colors in Stampin' Up!'s color revamp. I just love them! They are so bright and cheery. I have used Granny Apple Green several times, but haven't used Gorgeous Grape yet. I absolutely love it, but have been a bit unsure of where to use it. This card is perfect for it.

I used the "Oh My Stars" embossing folder to jazz up the background of my card. I also used some of this yummy, stripped ribbon. This was one of the first embellishments that I bought when the catalog came out, but this is the first time using it! Crazy! I punched a small hole in the seam of my card for the ribbon to slide through.

I used some 6 x 6 DSP for a little pop of color and some Blends to color my little pooch.  I just love these markers! They make blending so easy and make your coloring look professional.

I added a sentiment and a little birdie on the inside to finish off my card. Cute!

I hope I have inspired you today to go and create something "spooktacular" of your own.
