My take on The Paper Players Challenge 405

I thought I would try the challenge over at The Paper Players. This is a Color Challenge and I have to say, I struggled with this one. I am typically not a monochromatic stamper, but I used all the colors in the challenge. It is very simple, but here is my card:

Here is the challenge:

The Paper Players

I used 3/4" strips of the colored card stock and glued them onto a piece of white card stock that is 3 3/4" x 5". I then used dimensionals to adhere that piece to the card base. I cut out the sentiment die and the leaves with the Stitched Seasons dies. These dies and coordinating stamp set and Watercolor Pencils, Assortment 2 are only available while supplies last in August!

I stamped the wheat with So Saffron ink on the edge of the die and the sentiment with Pumpkin Pie ink. These stamps are in the Blended Seasons stamp set.

I adhered the sentiment die with dimensionals and adhered the leaf dies with thinly, cut strips of dimensionals. I then trimmed the edge of the top leaf off. Not fancy, but I think I like it!

Don't forget Bonus Days with Stampin' Up! this month. If you buy $50 of product (before shipping and tax), August 1-31, you will receive a $5 coupon to spend September 1-30. What a great deal! Pick up the limited, Blended Seasons bundle and get a $5 coupon! Shop with me today!
